A full local day around the island

This is the “real Phu Quoc” day: a loop that mixes the best beaches, the island’s quiet historic sites, and the food-producing farms that made Phu Quoc famous. We tailor the order to your hotel and the weather, but the full route is built around:

Beach route

• Morning: Starfish Beach in the north of the island. We leave early so you arrive before the tour buses and can actually see the starfish in shallow water.
• Midday lunch, your call. You pick the style: a sit-down lunch at the floating restaurants by the fishing village, or a seafood stop on the way down from the north to Sao Beach. We choose what feels best for your group on the day.
• Afternoon: Sao Beach in the south, for a long swim and photos.
• Late afternoon: Khem Beach, one of the most protected white-sand bays on the island, perfect for a slow sunset walk.

Cultural and historic stops

• Ho Quoc Pagoda, the hilltop temple with a clear view of the sea.
• Dinh Cau, the small fisherman temple at the mouth of the harbour, a short and photogenic stop.
• Coconut Prison (Phu Quoc Prison) museum, to understand Phu Quoc’s wartime history.

Nature and local food

• Basket-boat river trip through the mangrove. Short, quiet, and photogenic.
• Local farms. Pepper, pearl, fish sauce and honey, with a small tasting stop when timing allows.

Pricing

Private city tours are quoted per group, not per person, because the comfortable fit is a private 4, 7 or 16 seat vehicle with a driver and me on the phone.
